What you buy
Before the Magic is a digital service for adults preparing a family Christmas story. A one-time payment purchases automatic operation of one selected story at the time chosen by the parent. The character location is simulated; this is not tracking a real person or delivering physical presents. A parent confirms the finale.
Price and free preparation
One story costs 99 CZK, €4 or US$4 in your selected currency. The operator is not registered for Czech VAT. The displayed price is final; we do not add fees before payment. Stripe shows the final payable amount before you commit to payment. Ordinary text messages do not change the price, including a story with no messages. Preparation, editing, rehearsals and sharing are free. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Membership may provide complimentary operation. AI photographs and voice messages are not currently sold.
Ordering and performance
Before paying, you can edit the destination, timing and story and check the currency and price. Confirming the payment button in Stripe places an order with an obligation to pay. The contract is concluded when successful payment is confirmed. Automatic operation is for the approved schedule, not the moment you pay. If payment arrives after the story start, we ask you to reschedule; your preparation is preserved. We send a purchase confirmation with the complete agreed version of these terms to the email address provided at payment. You can also download it in the application.
Withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer, you may withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days after the contract is concluded. We preserve this right even if the story takes place earlier and make no proportional charge for using it. Send a clear notice to jsem@radekduha.cz or the registered office. Include your purchase email and order number; do not send card details or family story content. We refund within 14 days after your notice, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise, without a refund fee. Withdrawal ends paid automatic-operation access. Your statutory rights concerning defects remain after this period.
Complaints and outages
The operator is responsible for the agreed service. Report a defect to jsem@radekduha.cz, describing what happened, when, your order number and requested remedy. We confirm receipt and the outcome. We remedy defects within a reasonable time considering the purpose and scheduled story time, without significant inconvenience. Where a remedy cannot be provided in time, a defect is serious or recurring, or is not remedied within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a proportionate price reduction or withdrawal under applicable law. A replacement date is not automatically an accepted remedy for a missed Christmas story. These terms do not exclude or limit statutory consumer rights.
Technical requirements and privacy
You need a current mainstream browser, an internet connection and a parent account. Rehearse beforehand on the device you intend to use. The parent checks messages, timing, invitations and actual readiness of presents. Do not supply other people’s data without authority; share access links only with intended guests. See Privacy for family-data retention, export and deletion. Keeping a memory is not a promise of perpetual hosting. Before ending memory storage, we will give notice and enable export; purchased performance and statutory rights are unaffected.
Disputes and language
After first trying to resolve a consumer dispute with us, you may refer it to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, ADR department, Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Praha 2, Czechia, at coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/. Apply within one year of first raising the claim with the operator. Contracts can be concluded in Czech or English. Czech law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection in your country of habitual residence. The terms accepted for your order apply to that purchase; later changes do not change an existing contract.
